Vatesiau: An identity of captivation; in which you are drawn to something you don’t understand, longing for something intangible. You know not of the consequences.
What do you desire: To adore it, to grasp it, to become it? Perhaps it is already a part of you; something you haven’t yet accepted, or are incapable of understanding. Something growing- changing- inside, distorting you under the skin where you cannot see. Or, it may be something incredibly close, yet still so far away, your hand outstretched as it tries to claim its prize.
You do not understand what it is. You do not understand why it draws you in, as though you’re the final dash of light approaching the event horizon. Surely, by now, you must realize there is no going back. Yet, as you sink in, you may have finally reached your becoming- your apotheosis.
