Okay I think I finally kinda understand xenogender.
Xenogender is like… a gender that is outside of the box in its entirety. It has no central theme or concept and is completely individual on its feeling depending on the person. Xenogender isn’t contained by anything but itself, and is completely outside of any notion we have of genders with a central idea or concept. Because of this, xenogender can be anything, or connected to anything.
This would also explain why other neogenders aren’t xenogenders. They still have a central tie to certain concepts, as do its sublabels. It has its own core or essence. Xenogender meanwhile is completely outside of that idea. It’s hardly a solid gender of its own and more like a malleable, personalized gender that isn’t categorized by anything else
If I got this right, not only do I feel smart but I also think xenogender is fucking epic by this definition
To better explain my point:
Kenochoric: Connected to a central idea of kenopsia; loneliness, eerieness, distortion, fog, nostalgia, darkness, fear, and so much more. But all of these general things tie back to that central idea that makes kenochords kenochoric in some way
Xenogender: Has no central idea. It is whatever you make it be. Xenogender by itself is nothing; how it feels all depends on the person. It’s personalized. It’s external, autonomous gender identity. Like maverique but the feeling of gender is connected to something external specifically
