here’s an attempt at a clean vector version of @schizosupport‘s schizo-spectrum flag design (click through to see credit for other people who contributed to the design!) it doesn’t have quite as many swirlies bc even this much was really difficult to achieve in a vector program 😩 but i think the simplicity is probably a good thing, even if the original is honestly prettier

Schizo-Spectrum Flag (from schizosupport):

“After seeing @labnedthealchemist‘s design for a schizo spec flag, I wanted to try my hand at designing some as well, heavily inspired by theirs. These are merely sketches, so I excuse their wobblyness.
The sign used in these flags is the schizo- and psychosis spec sign coined by @actuallyschizophrenic here.
Purple represents positive symptoms of psychosis, and grey represents negative symptoms. I made the one in the middle first, but it looks like an ace pride flag which wasn’t my intention. The two others are more obviously modeled on @labnedthealchemist‘s design. I like the swirl in their design as I feel it makes it stand aside from other pride flags, and it also fits well with my experience of psychosis as a blending of shared reality with a private reality.”
Schizo-Spec Flag (from labnedthealchemist):

“Psychotic/Schizo Spectrum Awareness/Pride Flag!
@actuallyschizophrenic coined the double sided bent arrow in the middle of the flag to represent our community (as explained in this post) and I’ve seen/heard/had people agree that purple is a color associated with Psychosis! The three different shades of warm and cool purples represent delusions, hallucinations, and reality blending into one another.”
Schizo-Spec Symbol (from actuallyschizophrenic):

“Opinions on this as a symbol for the schizophrenic and psychotic spectrum community? It’s simple, with the wave in the middle symbolizing positive and negative symptoms, and the arrows pointing out symbolizing the vastness, scope, and diversity of the community?
I wanted to choose something that’s easily replicated and recognizable.
On a related note, what color do you feel should represent the community? I’ve seen silver and purple used to represent us in a few occasions but nothing widespread. I personally love purple as a color for us.”
