Sharegender (also known as gendershared) is a term for a gender experienced as being the same gender as another person, object, concept, or character. This may be in regards to one’s personal interpretation of that thing’s gender, or a more fluid identity which varies based upon how others perceive the gender of that thing.
Sharegender is not the same as the thing itself being your gender, but instead describes having the same gender (whatever it may be) as the thing. Sharegender is typically used as a gender system overall rather than a lone term.
A term under this system may use the suffix -shared.
