Amari & -mari
In which you do not specify the kinds of attraction you have (romantic, sexual, etc.) either because you do not prioritize different types, see no distinction between them, or don’t see any form as more important than another. An unspecified form of attraction.
It may be used as an identity, or as its own form of attraction, and can also be called “amari attraction” if the user wishes. Amari may be used alongside other forms of attraction.
Amari may be considered its own form of attraction in which the user does not care about the kinds they’re experiencing, because it doesn’t matter to them.
It is an unspecified form of attraction that can be different for different people.Amari “crushes” can be called a tresh, or rush.
Users may partake in something like relationship anarchy, or be amatopunk. This identity could be considered an amatopunk or relationship anarchy oriented form of attraction in that it purposefully does not distinguish different forms of it.
The suffix for amari is “-mari”, and can be used after any orientation prefix, like homomari, heteromari, bimari, and panmari. Amari is the general term for this identity. It is not restricted by any set rules (similar to queerplatonic) and no two amari relationships have to function in the same way.
Don’t use this term for creepy shit like inc-st, thanks.
Someone asked for some examples of what kind of relationships an amari person might like, so here’s a few (yours don’t have to be like this! just examples :3)
1. Two people in a relationship. No specification of what kind, because it doesn’t matter to them.
2. People within a wavership that just Do Not Care which way they’re going right now. They may possibly prefer a wavership since it’s a mix of multiple kinds of relationship styles.
3. A relationship where the people involved would prefer to go purely off of what the members want to do in it, and feel better not putting a specific label on it for that reason due to implications words like “romantic”, “platonic”, etc. might imply.
4. … Literally so many more. Amari doesn’t have any specific rules or boundaries, so it will look different for everyone. 🙂
