gender qualities are ways of organizing genders, presentations, and the like. a quality is a distinctive attribute or characteristic of something. if a gender is aporine, then it’s distinctly aporagender, or has a notable aporagender aspect. if someone talks about their xeninity, then it means that xenogender is a distinct characteristic of theirs
gender alignments are a way to say “my gender is similar to [gender], and it shares aspects and/or experiences with it, but it isn’t [gender]”. if someone is agender and feminine-aligned, then they’re still agender, but they relate to feminine experiences, and/or their agenderness has some similarities to femininity
i hope this helps!! the definition for gender quality is less solid than it is for gender alignment, and i’ll admit we’re less clear on that than we are alignment, but this is how we use it and how we see it used
