anon: what’s MUD? /genq tumblr search is garbo and we couldn’t find anything
MUD stands for medically unrecognised disorder. Original coining post is here. It refers to any disorder that isn’t recognised by the medical community and is mostly used for disorders people coined themselves. It’s an umbrella term I coined on an old, now terminated account so it makes sense that you couldn’t find it.
Some examples of MUDs: Erratic disorder, Based Mind Disorders, Dependent Eating Disorder, Misplaced Sympathy/Empathy Disorder, Hypervares. There is more but I can’t hunt them all down.
