Gentome: A term for when someone experiences something typically described as a gender, as being an alterhuman experience / label instead. Someone who is gentome may or may not also experience it as a gender too. -tome is a suffix that is used to designate any gender term as being under this term.
For instance, xenotome would be someone who experiences something akin to xeno “gender,” but as an alterhuman experience either alongside or instead of a gender experience. Someone might only feel connected to it in an alterhuman sense, and not in a gender sense, so calling their identity “xenogender” would not be accurate since that has gender in the name. Stuff like that.
-tome is not pronounced like “toh-m,” like the book, but instead as “toh-mee,” the same way you say it in epitome, since that is the word that this suffix comes from. So, “xenotome” would be pronounced “zee-noh-toh-mee.”
This isn’t super necessary for umbrellas that aren’t only for gender anyways, like kenochoric, but I figured it could be really helpful for people who experience this with Gender Specific identities in a not-gender way.
