a gender that feels cold and mechanical, like gears and pulleys working together to make one machine. it is connected to engineering, experiments, hastily scribbled notes and falling asleep at one’s desk late at night. it smells like oil and soot, and sparks like hot metal, gears grinding and steel groaning. it has not inherent gender alignment, possible due to its calculated nature, but it can if the user interprets it as such.
