In which someone temporarily identifies as or with something/someone (character, animal, etc.) due to ADHD hyperfixations, and adoption of that identity onto oneself. For some, a person might just become extremely close to the identity in question, for others, they may feel as though they have become that identity entirely.
Once the hyperfixation ends/drops, the identity is shed alongside it. However, amistels (the amistelic identity in question) can evolve into hearttypes, linktypes, general constels, etc., in which case they will persist even after the hyperfixation has ended.
This is considered a subterm of constelic, though it doesn’t have to be for everyone. It can be considered an alterhuman identity, or it can just be an experience someone has with identity in general.
The prefix ami- comes from amism (link), and the flag is a mix of the ADHD flag and constelic flag. This term is exclusively for people with ADHD.
