Wyrrepix (Whir-EH-pix) or Wyrrepigender: A musicagender connected to and influenced by the songs that often accompany boss battle sequences in games, shows, etc.
Examples of such include the songs from the iconic [S] sequences in Homestuck (Cascade, Collide, etc), as well as video game boss themes such as Apex of the World from FE3H, Serpent Eating the Ground from Bravely Default, Dancing Mad from FF6, etc.
This gender (optionally) may also be influenced by remixes, covers, medleys, etc, of these songs, as well as the dedication and love that comes from the composition of both the covers and the original.
Etymology:
– Wyrr: Old English for war.
– Epi(x): From epic, (generally) meaning a song lasting at least 7 minutes.
