A Terminology Source

I have added or plan to add a few terms of my own to the wiki. However, due to them being directly added, there is no original source provided.

Amalgam

A headmate with a different relationship to a source with an introject, due to gaining it later in their life rather than forming with it directly.

Muton

A modifer to a headmate’s role, denoting that the headmate only has the role under certain criteria. Originally thought of to refer to a headmate in a system with multiple types of consciousnesses who can only perform their role in one consciousness, though later expended while coining.

Inworlder

A headmate who lives a full, active life within the headspace, only fronting or interacting with the external world if summoned or very sporadically.

Superimpose / Impose

A headmate with multiple selves or states collected under a single identity, especially in the case where it’s unclear which self or state they currently inhabit unless they actively introspect.
