Anemoire Flag (page-2-ids)

page-2-ids:

Anemoire|Anemoirec: An umbrella term for genders related to Anemoia, a feeling of nostalgia for a time, place, person/people, and/or experience that one has never had, experienced, or known. This term is not inherently a Xenogender, Kenochord, or under any other umbrella, though it can overlap.

Common themes, connections, and experiences in Anemoirec genders, also known as Anemoires, include:

  • Retro and/or vintage pictures, aesthetics, fashion, shows, music, etc.
  • Anemoiacore, kidcore, babycore, toddlercore, teencore, and/or nostalgiacore, as well as (core) aesthetics related to decades or places that one doesn’t remember, wasn’t alive in, or hasn’t been to
  • Historical or otherwise culturally significant locations
  • Melancholy and/or longing feelings
  • Faded photographs
  • The feeling that one’s gender has already passed, is no longer in use or existence, or never truly existed in the first place, despite one’s connection to or identification with said gender
  • The never-ending march of time
  • And faded colors

however, Anemoires don’t have to be related to any of these things. The term can be seen as similar to Saudania and/or Kenochoric, though they aren’t inherently related nor the same thing.

The flag is inspired by my associations with anemoia
