Nexical Attraction

Synonyms: Nexus Attraction, Nexic Attraction

※ A type of attraction that can only be explained in the context of existing in the same system as one another. It may feel akin to any other sort of attraction but is unique to members in plural collectives and rooted in their plurality. This is as a result of their shared experiences that can not be experienced by individuals outside the shared body.

It may be used as a modifier with other attraction terms, for example “nexus-platonic attraction / nexical-platonic attraction”, or be used on its own.

※ Etymology: Nexical is derived from the latin nexus which means “connection.”

※ Notes: A individual one’s Nexical Attraction is directed at may be referred to as one’s “Nexus.”

This post uses “plural” and “system” language, but any individuals with applicable experiences can use the term regardless of whether they use these labels or not.
