A -punk identity that supports the idea that everyone is capeable of redemption and growth.

The values this identity supports:

• Supporting others to help them grow and become better people.
• Support for those who are trying but not quite there yet.
• The idea that no one(and I mean no one) is irredeemable.
• Pro teaching others
• Pro rehabilition and Anti Prision.
• Pro basic human rights for all criminals, even if they aren’t trying to be better.
• Pro ex-criminals being allowed to exist peacefully.
• Anti cancel culture.
• Anti harrasment.

This identity is open to anyone with the above values but is primarily aimed at ex-antis, ex-bigots, ex-criminals, ex-abusers and the like.

“redemptionqueer is a -queer term for when you believe that everyone (yes, everyone.) can be redeemed through showing genuine remorse for their actions and working to right them and better themselves. no matter what harm they have caused- if you exclude anyone who is truly trying to redeem themselves from possible redemption, you are not redemptionqueer.

redemption does NOT equal forgiveness however, and the redeemed person does not have the right to demand it- no one has to forgive anyone. but that does not mean they are not redeemed.

redemptionqueer is inherently anti harassment and anti suibaiting, but the rest is up to you. i am personally radqueer, pro transid and pro para, but this term can be used by anyone.”
