Terminology coining
I’ve noticed a lot of terms like this popping up so I’m just establishing a name for it to make it easier to discuss.
Replaceids- Identities that are similar to identical in definition to transid terms but are not called transid. These are often coined by those who are anti-transid. Examples would be chronosian, nubes, functobodem, etc.
I know “chronosian”, but what are the other two?
Functobodem was coined as an alternative to transabled, and I’ve been planning a post about it. Remember how you and Quinn talked about some antis being fine with experience but only as long as it isn’t an identity? That’s what it was about, wishing the body to function differently but not identifying with those different functions. Ironically, it was declared “unable to be in good faith” by LIOM.
I’ve been planning to make a post about it because for me it actually matches better than transabled, because I want to be abled and also change some other functions but I very heavily identify with my disabilities.
