An alternate word for the ‘reclaimed’ transautistic because it’s a great concept, but it steals our language and excludes transautistics! It even takes the transautistic flag design in an attempt to ‘reclaim’ that too (2 normal stripes, small stripe, middle stripe, small stripe, 2 normal stripes, with a circle and infinity in the middle) so I tried to make something different!
It’s inspired by themogaidragon’s autilesbian, autigay, and similar terms!
Definition:When your trans identity and your autism are so intrinsically tied to each other that it feels as though one wouldn’t be trans if they weren’t autistic, or at least not in the same way. They only experience transness through the lens of being an autistic person.
The term is open to use by any transautistic or cisautistic people too! I’ll be taking back the ‘reclaimed’ transADHD, and I might do some other ‘neurotrans’ terms before the antis take our stuff
