Hi, I’m the original coiner of heartqueer. I am no longer RQ and would like to reclaim the term, because it causes me a lot of stress that it’s still in circulation and I want to take that power & pain away.

New-definition heartqueers are:

• Anti-transID
• Anti-oculoid
• Pro-para, anti-contact for any nonconsensual paras
• Ship neutral
• Pro alternative terms to transIDs
• Anti-abuse
• Anti cringe culture
• Primarily focused on supporting and uplifting survivors of the RQ movement, AAM movement, MAP movement, etc.

New flag is inspired by the old one, utilizing a softer color palette to signify recovery.
