Iwisexual Flag (link-sharegender)

link-sharegender:

[ID – Four-striped flag. From top to bottom: Black, gold, light yellow, raspberry. – End]

Iwisexual is a counterpart to Cassexual, where one doesn’t care about their sexuality, but also doesn’t find it unimportant to who they are and/or is not indifferent to the idea of sexuality. Iwisexual is meant to be a broad label for those who find cassexual restrictive in its definition, and for those who self-identify as “not caring” not due to an indifference towards sexuality, but as a sexuality label in and of itself.

Someone can identify as iwisexual for any reason, not just those listed.

—–

“Iwis” comes from the obsolete English word which meant “certain, sure”.

The flag is meant to be reminiscent of both the asexual and cassexual flags, with some extra yellow added in for pride and joy.

Context: Cassexual is an identity where one feels that one is indifferent to the idea of sexuality, and believes it is not an important part of their identity. A cassexual individual may be on the asexual spectrum, but does not have to be.
