So. I was going to just suck it up and keep existing on Aethy, even though they’ve banned any mentions of being pro para. Until this. I posted on my own personal account (not a reply to anyone, didn’t send it to staff, didn’t tag staff) and they found it and replied with all this.

Alongside everything else I replied to them with, it’s also important to note a couple things. One, this is majorly weird. The staff shouldn’t be interacting with the users like this. The staff isn’t your friend or your peers, they should be mature and not arguing with you. If my post broke a rule, they should’ve called for it to be taken down. If it didn’t, they shouldn’t have interacted at all. Least of all like this.
Two, this is literally anti rhetoric. “Oh everyone using this symbol spreads abusive material.” (I also asked them in another reply to provide the statistics showing this.) “We’re just preventing real abuse by preventing thought crimes.”
Three, I know I said this in my reply, but I want to reiterate. It’s weird to say “if you have any criticisms of our site at all, leave instead of complaining.”
Honestly, it just feels like people who weren’t ready to run a community running a community.
