anon: Could you maybe coin something like transprey/transpredator but in the middle? Somedays i feel like a cat that hunts, but other days i feel like a deer that forages.
I was kind of surprised to find out that there isn’t already a word for “animal that is simultaneously predator to prey” in English, so I’m going with the very obvious Preydator, or transpreydator if you prefer. 🙂
