Admittedly, we have never seen a definition of the term, but our understanding of the term is that it’s a branch of age regression meant for those who are usually shunned from most other age regression communities. That would, in our experience, likely include those whose age regression overlaps in some capacity with their age play. But AB/DL is not the same as pedophilia.
Granted, we may be misunderstanding. It’s entirely possible that the term is not what we think it is. But there are members of this system that are in the AB/DL community. There are members of this system that age regress to cope with trauma. There are system littles in this system. Some of these system members are in multiple of these categories at once. Most importantly, though, the host of this system is an adult man. He does not particularly care if other adults find his artwork erotic.
If it’s true that our understanding of the term is wrong, we’d be interested in knowing what the definition is.
As someone in CG/L and 🍸 [MAP] spaces can definitely confirm while it IS a nsfw tag it’s for stuff like ageplay. Conflating being a 🍸[MAP] with ageplay is also not awesome nor is using 🍸[MAP]-ness as a substitute for “predatory” like anon is.
While I will say not to use the tag if you don’t want nsfw / kink interaction it is not “bad” of you to do so. Agere spaces have a concerning amount of anti-nsfw and anti-kink sentiment honestly.
