Ampugambae (“ampu” being the abbreviation of ‘amputation/amputated’ and “gambae” being the contraction between gamba (meaning 1 leg) and gambe (meaning multiple legs) in Italian) is a transabled identity that describes:
• someone who internally feels that they haven’t either one or both legs, or
♦️ someone who wants their legs to be physically removed, or
• someone’s whose leg(s) has(ve) been voluntarily removed
