DICE.org is a group that is very controversial. I’m at least aware they have repeatedly been called a cult and the language of “family” they use is concerning given how other groups can use this language to isolate people from their existing communities and lives.
Theydescribe themselves as, “DICE is an organization set on helping those who are less fortunate. A support group for those “shunned by society.” Mortis created a community of people who are free to explore what makes them happy and comfortable, a safe space to make new friends, and a family for those who need it. We welcome new members with open arms and we’d love to see what you have to offer.”
A different perspective is that, “DICE are a group of edgelords run by Mortis (aka Mortisism), visual artist and the de facto leader. People have claimed a lot of negative things about these people, including that Mortis fucked his dog, they encourage self-harm, etc.”… “DICE’s followerbase is divided, with some people claiming that DICE are evil cultists and awful people, others (which is most of DICE’s congregation) claiming that Mortis is a Godhead that everyone should desire to be like, and worship. So essentially, Mortis is a Jim Jones type figure minus the mass suicide and mind control.”
