Gizmorial Terms (term-repost)

term-repost:

Gizmorial: An identity that functions the same way something else functions. Doesn’t necessarily refer to what the identity is, but rather how it works. Comes from the word “gizmo.”

For instance, having a gender that functions the same way a computer functions. It may feel as though it runs like a computer, with hardware / software and internal processes that function the same way a computer does.

Another more creative example is having a gender that functions the same way a kintype does, such as it being able to shift the exact same way as a kintype, and otherwise feels similar in function to a kintype. It doesn’t necessarily feel like the gender IS a kintype, but rather that it functions the same way a kintype does.

Subterms include:

Gendergizmo: A gender that functions the same way something else functions.

Gizmallion: An orientation that functions the same way something else functions.

Aldergizmo: An aldern that functions the same way something else functions.

Gizmobrain(ed): Functioning the same way something else functions due to neurodivergency.

Gizmobeing: Alterhumanity that functions the same way something else functions.

Gizmorial is the general term, and you do not need to use a subterm unless you want to specify that it’s your gender / orientation / etc.. I couldn’t think of a good flag for this term, so I’m just posting it as text for now.
