Context: “Otophilia (from Greek ους, “ear”, derived analogously with “otolaryngology”) is an attraction towards ears. I don’t know if this was coined before or if the flag was made. My friend pointed out its absence, and I failed to find it. The colors do not mean anything particular, but the dots are a reference to earrings, and the vertical stripes denote the middle point between the face and the hair.”
