TransTroubledTeenIndustySurvivor is a TransAbused/TransID term where you Believe / Think / Think you are a Troubled Teen Industry Survivor!
This can be for any reason! Including Atypical Dysphoria, Delusions, Past Lives, or Current Trauma, etc!
Context: The Troubled Teen Industry (TTI) is referring to an industry of institutions (residential treatment facilities, inpatient wards, group homes, etc) that profit off of the suffering of young people, under the guise of mental health treatment. I am wording it this way due to the amount of child neglect, child homicide legal cases, conversion therapy, and abuse of various sorts that happen in this context.
Kidnapping is featured in the flag due to how a common means of transporting kids/teens to these institutions is kidnapping (aka “being gooned” where your parents/legal guardian(s) pay for people to take you somewhere).
