“ParID Explanation Post!!!!

First, a general flag for ParID because there isn’t one.

Now based on these two posts thingies, here (link) and here (link), parID (or parabled & parethnic) is an identity that is not shared or held by the body, but belongs to one (or more) alters/headmates.

That’s all I could find on the term tho so go ham lol.

Context: Parethnic and parabled are terms for system members who have a different ethnicity / ability from the body (from m-grouped).

Pluralpedia states, “A parabled headmate experiences an ability or disability that differs from the body.

For example, an introject may experience a disability from their source, or a metamate may be connected to a disability and therefore display it. Similarly, a headmate may not be impacted by a disability the body displays.

A parabled headmate may still be affected by their ability level while fronting. They may be not able to use certain body parts or senses like their headmates do, or possibly experience dysphoria or exolimb.”
