“Minecraft Plural Terms.
I know a lot of systems are getting some Mincecraft hyperfixations (including us) so I thought we’d make some association terms for people, if they want to use them! Some metaphors if you will? Basically just Plural Terms, but make it Minecraft!
Basic Terms
Server/SMP: System. The collective of people or facets inside the body.
Map: Headspace. Where headmates live inside the mind. Not all systems have headspace.
Players: System members. People in the system.
Offline: Dormancy.
Biome: Layer. Different levels of a system, where different headmates live in different layers. Layers may or may not know (of) each other.
Villages: Subsystem. A headmate with their own system; a system within a system.
Single Player: Empty System. A system where at the moment, all members are gone except for one.
Spawn: Forming. When a new person is formed. Can relate to both non-voluntary, and voluntary forming.
Seed: Body. The body that the system inhabits.
Member Types
Mob/s: System Roles and member types.
Admin: Host or Outernaut. A system member who is primarily responsible for fronting and external matters/daily life. A system may have one, multiple, or no system members in this role.
Operator: Co-Host or Perinaut. A system member who is not primarily responsible, but holds a close secondary responsibility for fronting and external matters/daily life. A system may have one, multiple or no system members in this role.
Moderator: Gatekeeper. A system member that controls things, such as Fronting, access to certain areas or memories, and even access to other people.
Villager: NPCs. A non-alter/headmate in a system. Not real people, but they’re filler so headspace isn’t so empty.
Golems: Protectors. A system member who protects the body, the host, the main, other system members, and/or specific groups of members.
Endermen: Persecutors. A system member that acts out and harms other system members, or the body. Usually internalized abusive messages, and is trying in their own way to protect the system. Often misunderstood, like Endermen.
Turtles: Caretaker. System member that looks after the other system members- can be only specific groups (like the Littles) or the entire system.
Sheep: Officium. A member who is essential to the system’s functions for some reason.
Piglin: Perpetrator. A system member who is mean or angry to people outside of the system, mostly to keep the system safe.
Axolotls: Main. Different from host, in they don’t actually have to front that much. The main people or person that everyone basically draws energy from.
Bees: Littles/Syskids. Young children in a system. The ages of a Little aren’t agreed on by the community.
Parrots: Lost Adults. A system member who grew up physically, but not mentally.
Foxes: Claudias. A system member who grew up mentally, but not physically.
Cats: Littlex. A non-explicit term for a little or age-slider who holds trauma with adult themes
Dolphins: Middles/Systeens. A tween/teen in a system. Ages are not agreed upon, but usually 12-19~.
Wolves: Bigs. Adults in the system. Can be either 18+ or 21+, ages aren’t agreed on.
Ocelots: Age Vague. A system member who doesn’t have a particular age, or their age is more based on the way they act or look, and not a specific number.
Moobloom or Mooshroom: Age Varying. A blanket term for age sliders/regressors/progressors.
Wandering Travelers: Walk-Ins. A system member who simply shows up in the system out of the blue, fully-formed.
System Structure
Peaceful: No amnesia. Memories are shared between members/switches, and the system isn’t forgetful.
Easy: Mixed memory. A mix between shared/segregated memories,
Normal: Segregated memory. Amnesia between members/switches.
Hard: Heavy amnesia. Memory is poor in general, like due to disorders/physical condition.
Survival Mode: Traumagenic and/or Neurogenic systems (systems that formed to help with problems/formed because of problems), and/or systems with headspaces where it’s hard to create things.
Creative Mode: Parogenic systems and/or systems that have headspaces where you can create things easily. Created systems.
Adventure Mode: Paragenic systems or systems with Scribstratas/Scribias/Paracosms that system members can go to. Story-type systems.
Hardcore Mode: Disordered systems, systems with a LOT of members, and/or Polygenic/Multigenic systems. Struggling systems.
Spectator Mode: Origin-agnostic, Origin Flippant, Agenic, etc. Plurals who don’t align to other system origin roles.
If anyone has any terms they think work too, or think somethings should be changes, please tell us! I’m not too sure about all the terms, but I think it’s pretty good!!
Some more terms, by @integender:
Chests: Trauma/Symptom/Delusion/Memory etc Holder. A system member who holds (what they hold). You can use the different chest types as names if you have more than one form of holders.
Modders: System Admins/Managers. System mates that help keep the system organized. May keep track of headmates, medications, appointments, etc.
Builders: Jack Of All Trades.
Squids: Non-verbal system members.
Fish: Soothers.
Realms: Sidesystem and Parallel systems. Completely separate systems alongside the existing main system.”
