Jokeview or Jestview is a Blankview* label that focuses around fun, laughter, and jokes! It prioritises having fun with your identity and laughing about those who think any part of your identity is ‘invalid’ or ‘harmful’ or otherwise think negatively about your identity!

The Blankqueer counterpart is Jokequeer/Jestqueer! (Below the cut!)

Jokeview/Jestview has no set beliefs, and anyone regardless of beliefs may identify with the term if it fits them.

The color choice was made because red, blue, and yellow are fun colors often associated with fun and jesters and stuff

Jokequeer or Jestqueer is a Blankqueer* label that focuses around fun, laughter, and jokes! It prioritises having fun with your identity and acceptance of many beliefs, as well as laughing about those who claim such identities are ‘harmful’, ‘invalid’ or otherwise ‘wrong’.

Pro-Plural -> Jokequeer inherently supports all plurals including but not limited to; traumagenic and non-traumagenic systems, mediums and vessels, tulpamancers, and others with multiple identity states. It explicitly believes that every plural has their own experience and nobody other than the plural themselves has the right to claim whether or not they are actually plural

Pro-Queer, Pro-MOGAI, Pro-GSRD/GSRM, Pro-LIOM

Pro-Kink -> Jokequeer explicitly supports kink

Pro-SelfDX -> Jokequeer accepts informed self-diagnosis, and recognises that it is a significant part along the journey for anyone with any disorder, illness, or disability. It also recognises that a diagnosis is a privilege and is not accessible to all who may need it. (e.g. The process of diagnosis is too expensive)

Pro-Mspec Identities -> Jokequeer is explicitly pro-mspec, including mspec lesbians/gays/etc

Pro-Contradictory Labels -> Jokequeer explicitly supports identities that “contradict” one another including but not limited to; lesboys, gaybians, straightbians, etc

Pro-Consent -> Jokequeer explicitly believes in consent as a major part of any act romantic, sensual, or sexual in nature

LGBT-Neutral -> Jokequeer DOES support those who identify with the LGBT+ label, however explicitly recognises that as a label it is exclusive and pushes the ideal of ‘fitting into a box’ because of how it is built upon adding a letter for each identity and how anyone seems to be able to add or remove a letter for any reason

Internet Drama-Neutral -> Jokequeer is explicitly neutral on all unproven internet drama; any Jokequeer person may have their own opinion on individual dramas, however Jokequeer explicitly avoids engaging in the drama itself, especially when the drama is something that should have been kept private between those involved

Radqueer-Neutral -> Jokequeer itself is explicitly radqueer neutral, this applies to both paras and transIDs. Jokequeer individuals may have their own opinions provided they do not harass or engage with the ‘opposing” side unless engaging civilly. They should also refrain from bringing up the discourse to those with opposing beliefs unless the other party is explicitly open to genuine questions or conversation regarding it. (e.g. Anti-radqueer Jokequeer individuals must not harass or intentionally engage with those who are pro-radqueer, and vise-versa.)

Transition-Neutral -> Jokequeer is pro-transition for any identity that transitioning is harmless (e.g. TransHairColor). It is neutral to transitioning for identities that transitioning requires actions that may or may not harm the party transitioning (e.g. transitions that require surgery or body modifications that have the capacity to go wrong). It is neutral to transtioning for identities that will harm the party transitioning, as it does not concern anyone apart from the transitioner (e.g. TransTrauma). It is against transitioning regarding identities that explicitly harm others to transition (e.g. TransMurderer). Jokequeer explicitly supports the party in their choice to transition when it comes to identities that only concern the transitioner.

Anti-Contact -> Jokequeer is explicitly against contact

Anti-Censorship -> No fictional or historical media/content should be filtered/censored from the internet. Jokequeer does believe that genuinely harmful media should not be created (e.g. media involving real, living people who did not or cannot consent to being a part of that media; or media depicting real people in situations they did not or cannot consent to)

Anti-“Cluster Abuse” -> Jokequeer does not believe anyone is abusive because of a disorder or illness they have, if the person is abusive it was their choice to be abusive and that is not the fault of their disorder/illness

Anti-Discourse -> Jokequeer is explicitly against discourse, instead believing that everyone is entitled to their own opinion within reason, and that those with different beliefs should co-exist without harassing each other, and should refrain from openly claiming anyone is inherently invalid. Jokequeer specifically believes your opinions are your own and are not the business of random people who you disagree with. (Within reason, meaning that such that is not an opinion but rather simply a harmful view is not something that is fair. e.g. Having the “opinion” that trans people aren’t real, or having the “opinion” that somebody doesn’t deserve rights based on a part of them that they cannot control)

Anti-Exclusion

Anti-Harassment -> No person should be harassed; though if one harasses you it is acceptable to make fun of or laugh at them in response; though any action you make should be of equal or less harm than they caused.

Anti-Hate -> Jokequeer is against racism, ageism, sexism, queerphobia, transmedicalism, speciesism, and other forms of hate. Jokequeer is also explicitly against cross-tagging for the sake of causing harm

Anti-Prejudice -> Jokequeer is against judging others negatively before having gotten to know them. It is also against judging others based on their identity or a group they are part of, it recognises that every group has its bad bunch and those few do not define the entire community.

Jokequeer is also explicitly for tagging things correctly and providing appropriate warnings on posts, it recognises that anything can be a trigger for anyone and that tagging for every possible trigger is not possible, but believes common triggers and 18+ content should always be tagged as such for the safety and well-being of all.”
