Contraidentity, Content System, Desirabled, & Programmed Personality Flags (all-that-devours)

“Contraidentity

A what now? — Mash of the words “contradicting” and “identity”. When multiple things about your identity, personality, beliefs, opinions, or etc contradict each other.

Why does it need a flag? — For fun, there’s tons of “useless” and non-LGBTQ or etc flags out there.

Contradicting labels aren’t valid! — Why not? All they are at the end of the day — are labels. Just a label. A term. What’s wrong with using multiple IDs even if they contradict each other? They don’t hurt anyone. Don’t confine yourself to made up rules and concepts, identity is a construct and one that doesn’t have any rules. No one gets to decide what identity is valid and what isn’t. If you still don’t like it, scroll.

Anyone can use, No DNI. ALT flags allowed/welcome.

Already exists? Consider this a ALT flag!”

“Content sys

What? — Purely made for people like me who like being a system, or love their alters, or are in general content as a system despite the stereotype/idea of “all systems are miserable” people have. It’s perfectly okay to not enjoy a disorder you didn’t choose to have, but I also got tired of seeing everyone have the “if your a system you HAVE to be miserable and/or depressed or your faking!” idea. Notice how everyone on r/systemcringe believes that…

Why does it need a flag? — For fun. There’s tons of system flags out there. This is just one of them.

Anyone can use, No DNI. ALT flags allowed/welcome.

syscourse dni on this post, thanks.”

“Desirabled

What? — A term I made up using the words “desire” and “abled”. So creative I know /s. Made for people who feel invalid or incomplete without something that would their life worse or harder, such as a disorder, disability, or already having a disorder/disability but feeling invalid or incomplete because it’s not worse or etc.

Why would anyone want this? — Probably trauma and other personal reasons such as a already existing mental disorder or etc.

Isn’t this glorifying/attention seeking? — No. It would be glorifying if I made it look super cute and quirky, which I’m not, but even people who DO “glorify” it still deserve understanding because people tend to cope with their issues by romanticizing/glorifying it to feel better. Wanting something like attention, trauma, a mental disorder and etc is not mentally healthy, and no one mentally stable would actively seek for bad things to happen to them. Just because you think it’s “cringe” or “weird” and etc doesn’t mean these people are trying to harm you or make your struggles look lighter.

Why does it need a flag? — Mostly for fun, there’s a ton of useless and non-LGBTQ+ flags out there. Stripe meaning: Darker pinkish-red & lighter pink: desire for harm, darker green and lighter green represent help and/or recovery.

Isn’t there already a term for this? — Yes, but it got backlash because there wasn’t a proper explanation from the person who coined it. It was also coined by a xenosatanist who thinks babies can consent, hence why I wanted to make a better coin/term of it. The original coin/term was called transabled.

Why would you ID as this? — To feel valid, complete, or just for fun. Depends on the person.

Anyone can use, No DNI. ALT flags allowed/welcome.

Possible advice for those who ID with this: You are valid even without [X], and if it helps try roleplaying as desired [X] and distracting yourself. There’s multiple other ways to cope with atypical dysphoria, I wish you luck. /gen”

Context:

From monkey-tailedskinkpantheon about the paragraph on the coining of transabled above, “Transabled was coined in 2003/2004 by Sean O’Connor. You can see this article from 2013 that sites he made a website called transabled.org 10 years ago. The term predates its current tumblr usage by a lot and definitely predates xenosatanism. I’ve seen nothing that indicates he is a xenosatanist or even active in the tumblr transabled community.

I assume the xenosatanist part may refer to the individual who made the transabled flag most commonly used on tumblr. I admittedly don’t know whether or not that flag maker is a xenosatanist or not but even so I strongly believe in separating terms and flags from the views of those that made them.

If you are referring to the tumblr flag post however, both versions I can find here and here are very well explained and site of the original coiner. I’m very curious what “coining” you saw as a source for your claims about transabled.”

“Programmed personality

A what now? — A “programmed personality” does not literally mean a programmed personality nor does it refer to things like alters or etc, it refers to making a version of yourself you want to become, then over time molding yourself into that desired version of yourself. It’s called “programmed” because you created it, kind of like how you “create” when programming/coding something. [definition wording may change I suck at wording.]

Why is it called a “ID”? — Because there isn’t a real term for it, so ID which stands for identity is the closest you get. “I ID as/with this.”

Why does it need a flag? — For fun and whimsy. It’s really not that deep, there’s flags for all sorts of “useless” and non-LGBTQ+ stuff out there.

Flag stripe meanings? — None, I just messed around. Hoe life or no life.

Anyone can use, No DNI. ALT flags allowed/welcome.”
