Xenoemota is an umbrella term for individuals who feel as though normal emotion terms don’t effectively describe how they feel. Instead of using normal terms like sad, angry, etc, an individual may use Xenoemota terms to help describe their feelings using things seemingly unrelated to emotion and feeling. Some examples of seemingly unrelated things may be nature, religious themes, animals, objects, and music.

Xenoemota is a term intended to be mainly for neurodivergent people, since some do struggle to describe their emotions as a result of their divergency. However, neurotypical may use this as it can be acknowledged that neurotypical may struggle with the same thing.

Prefix: Xemo-

Suffix: -emota

(Either can be used or both for Xenoemota terms)

Can also be called Xenoemotion
