What is a Alteh(Kin) System?

An alteh system(often known as kin system) is a plural system that houses members that are introjects of the core, blanket self or person’s kintypes, theriotypes or alterhuman types. Specifically, the introjects would be fuzztives or fogtives but many can be considered fact or fictives.

Discussion around kin/alteh systems don’t exist much anymore so newer content must be made.

The alteh system type is very hard to describe as median, multiple or singlet in nature but for us- we exhibit a form of plural singlethood(plurlet) in behavior. We don’t switch, it’s more of taking over the mind/mindset and we don’t see much usage in co-front, co-con because that’s our norm and we always do that. But we have multiple facets in ourselves beyond our person.

Person → Self → Collection of facets that the self breaks up into.

Issues brought up

This term was coined around 2015, with controversy surrounding it due to the myth around the previous name of “kin” and “system”.

Two halves of the issue start with how many see kin as being an intrinsic part that you can’t choose of and is very special. You can choose a kintype, and the first half of that can be called otherlinking(which is a separate thing from kintype). Over time, it becomes a kintype and NOW you cannot choose to get rid of it. Kintypes can be voluntary but there is no way to get “rid” of them once they’re stuck in your identity.

Second, the plurality stance is against people like Endogenic, Spiritual, Tulpa and Willogenic etc systems who are not trauma or trigger based. The hate against kin systems is seeing them as inherently endogenic which is not true. My system is trigger based and mixed origin, meaning that we have trauma that may or may not have caused our alteh system. People seem to forget that many plural experiences exist on a timeline that changes it’s events and environments.

I do hear the issues though and how those people who complained have all the right to, but the nerve to dictate one’s relationship with themselves AND their plurality is shitty. So I pretend I do not see /j

Altehmate: Alterhumanity-mate. An alteh counterpart to headmate referring to any mate of any origin, role or function inside of an alteh system.”
