“Persa – ID

A term for identities that one is okay referring to themself as, but uncomfortable with others referring to them as said identity.

This could be due to dysphoria, trauma association, feeling as if people don’t understand why you identify that way, etc.

Close people may also be fine to call them that identity, but this is not always the case.

Ex ; a persalesbian is comfortable calling themself a lesbian, but not being okay with anyone else referring to them as a lesbian

There is no wrong way to use this term.”
