“Omega-Verse – Sexualities

Sexuality is a wide range and is very complicated. Sorry if I get something wrong.

Sexuality in omega-verse can be strange at first.

I have seen people say that it depends on the dynamic and not presenting genders.

But as I was thinking about, that means people are just changing the definitions of sexualities that we know them as. The attraction (or lack of) to presenting gender. Just because in Omega-verse there are new levels one could be attracted to, doesn’t change or erase the already existing ones.

It could mean that the words straight, gay, and lesbian can have more meanings, or those words might not even exist in your AU. Lesbian being based on the island of Lesbos, but your AU is a fantasy world where Lesbos and Sappho never existed. Make up your own slang that makes sense.

Heterosexual still means the attraction to someone who’s presented gender is the opposite of ones own.

Homosexual still means same presenting gender attraction.

Bi is still ‘like and unlike’ ones own gender

Asexual is no sexual attraction to gender

Pan is all genders

We who create in the Omega-verse setting need to come up with terms to describe the new levels of attraction we play with.

Omega-verse Sexuality based on Scent.

Scent-ual is the stupid pun that I now curse you to know of.

Oestrussexual – oestrus from Wikipedia Estrous cycle page, latin meaning ‘frenzy’. This would refer to someone sexually attracted to the scent of heat.

Rugiresexual – rugire from Rut page on Wikipedia says it Latin for ‘to roar’. So this could means someone sexually attracted to the scent of rut.

Mitissexual – mitis I used a translator to get. Latin for gentle. Someone attracted to the more gentle scent of those that don’t smell of heat or rut.

Spiritussexual – Spiritus latin translator, means Breath. Someone who is attracted to all scents.

Foetetsexual – foetet latin traslator, means Stinks. Someone who is not attracted to scents. They all stink!

I would love to know what people think of these terms. Should I change them to something else, or even look into adding more? Show me the sexualities that can only exist in your omega-verse. ♥”
