“Altervexo, altervex, alterspite: identifying as alterhuman out of spite.

It can be with a specific being, species, or concept, or just rejecting humanity broadly. It is not an inherent identity, but something later adopted due to life experiences. Some can be directly related to forms of dehumanization as well. For example, an autistic person who is compared to a cat frequently because of their behavior and annoyed by it might later identify as catvexic.

Type Form Example

From the Alterhuman Wiki, “Altervexo, it’s flag, and symbol were coined in 2022 by [ghost host] and the R&S System”

“The color meanings are the same as that alterhuman flag (black for being “without” humanity, to any degree and in any manner, purple as in the medusan and transspecies flags; it’s a color beyond what can be seen by humans and represents existing “beyond” humanity, magenta represents a color that’s entirely removed from the visible light spectrum – the “something else than” human, and white for the many experiences united under the alterhuman umbrella), but with the warm tones also meaning anger and, well, spite.”
