“Methylated (Alterhuman)

Based on DNA methylation, a process where methyl groups are added to DNA, potentially repressing transcription (hence, the gene is not expressed). The flag references CpG islands and how methyl groups commonly bind to cytosine followed by guanine in a 5’ to 3’ direction.
Definition: An alterhuman term in which one has the genetics (or equivalent molecular biology) of their kintype, but the genes are not expressed. This term may be used however the user interprets — literally or figuratively.
The term is coined with holotheres and other physical alterhumans in mind, but is not exclusive / may be used by those who are not.”
