“New Blankqueer stance: Autistqueer

(If the flag looks terrible that’s because I’m a really bad flag maker. Anyone is free to make alt flags for this)
Autistqueer is a term for autistic individuals that:
- Supports the idea that autism is not inherently suffering and that people should be able to find it desirable, supports transautistics and transseverity cisautistics
- Understands that many autistics have distinctly different understandings of age, race, species, and other such concepts, supports transids
- Supports an individual choosing to romanticize their own disorder and symptoms to cope, opposes romanticizing another’s symptoms without their explicit permission
- Opposes all fakeclaiming and the stereotypical ideas about autism behind it, especially opposes fakeclaiming based on identities or discourse stances
- Believes in an overhaul of the psychiatric system and is either psych-critical or anti-psych, opposes forced recovery, believes paraphiles are not inherently disordered, supports individuals labeling their own psychiatric experiences outside of the current diagnostic system using MUDs or MUSs
- Supports the protection of the bodily autonomy so often stripped away from autistics (especially MSN/HSN autistics), supports medpunk and transition for transabled identities
- Pro youthlib, anti ageism, supports stripping away the stigma around “childlike” behavior in both chronological children and adults (many of which are neurodivergent)
