Context:

From the transID.org wiki, “PermaID is a term for those who identify as permanently being something. This can be in a trans- way, a cis- way, or anything in between or outside of this dichotomy, though they are typically aligned with the transID community. For example:

• One who feels as though they are stuck as a toddler may identify as a permatot.
• One who has HPD or desires HPD may identify as permaHPD.
• One who is always, nearly always, or desires to always be on Tumblr may identify as permatumblr.
• One who feels as though they should always be plural in every lifetime may identify as permaplural.

Early examples of the perma- prefix being used retain to several permaage terms coined in 2021. There is no known flag for the term.

This term is the opposite of tempID.”
