Faulty Rising Paranoia is a MUD that is characterised paranoia over the sun, or the moon, is rising in the wrong direction.

The paranoia may be only periodical and not constant.

Symptoms may include;

  • Intently watch the sky around sunrise and sunsets
  • General feelings of constant doom and dread that don’t get better with reassurance
  • Losing the ability to tell directions, briefly believing that the sun/moon has indeed risen from the wrong direction
  • Phantom memories of the sun/moon not rising from the same direction yesterday as the one it is rising from today
  • Severe anxiety whenever looking at the sky and or a negative reaction to seeing the the hues of the sunset/sunrise seeping through windows
  • Delusions about one’s demise believing it to be near with no evidence supporting said belief
  • Uncharacteristic change in attitude towards one’s life and loss of interest in goals
  • One feeling their familiar environment to be alien and unfamiliar as well as uncertain
