✧An Avoidance/Unsafe Person (AVP/UNP) is a Special Person attachment experienced by those with Avoidant Personality Disorder (AVPD). An AVP is someone the person with AVPD (pwAVPD)’s avoidance symptoms increase around. This may be due to the pwAVPD believing them to be amazing, and that may lead to the pwAVPD avoiding this person more than they usually would due to fear of potential rejection from someone as amazing as their AVP.
