✧ A Heedless Person (HEP) is a negative Special Person attachment that occurs with individuals with Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD). A Heedless Person is someone who is more often than not a subject to the person with (pwHPD)’s negative symptoms, and may be subjected to persistent Devaluation or Splitting. This may be someone who ignores or dismisses the pwHPD. This person may constantly feed into the feeling of worthlessness and leave the pwHPD desperate for acknowledgement of some kind. This could be because they were an Attention person or a similar attachment gone wrong.✧
