Old Radqueer

Controversy

The original coining of Radqueer was denounced by newer age members of the community due to the creator of it being pro-contact. Shortly after, a new version of the term was coined without any contact stance tied to it.

New Radqueer

The second coining of Radqueer (widely referred to as “new radqueer” or just “Radqueer”) was coined on May 15th, 2022 by Tumblr user equiradqueer. It is widely accepted as the official definition for Radqueer despite being coined at a later date. It was created in response to controvery surrounding the original creator’s contact stance.”
