The opposite of a soulmate, a morguemate is a similar level of connection with the opposite purpose. Morguemates will meet in most, if not every life to ruin each other.
Morguemates are significantly unstable after meeting their other half for the first time, but due to the nature of their connection, they can’t be away from each other either.
MORGUEMATE DESCRIPTORS ;
Deceased : Morguemates who are still in contact or are still getting worse due to the proximity.
Rotted : Morguemates who cut off theirs and are still getting worse due to the lack of proximity.
Decomposed : Morguemates who, for some reason it’s impossible to contact theirs ever again and are getting worse due to the lack of proximity.
Undead : Morguemates who cut off their morguemate, or can’t get in contact with them anymore and are resulting to coping mechanisms like self harm, conabuse, or trying to find a new person similar to their old one.
Resuscitated : Morguemates who are in remission of any excessively harmful symptoms of theirs, can mean whatever the user wants it to mean.
To have had a morguemate, you two have to had somehow traumatized each other heavily when in contact, been unstable with and without contact, as well as it being impossible to be fully recovered from their impact for any reason. (Remission of symptoms can occur)
I can’t control who uses this term, but I’d prefer it to be used with the knowledge that this term is meant to describe one of our main traumatizers from the past.
