Kamu & Tsukumo Symbols (cadaverki-dotcom)

“Kamu

A term for a kodo who is a monster. The term may also be taken on as an identity.

More straightforward than tsukumo lol. I went with tentacles because one of the teratophilia flag also using tentacles. Very original, I know.

Kamu is taken from Kanna Kamui from Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, who is a loli dragon. I was originally gonna go with a Monster Musume character, but I thought Kamu was cuter than any of their names, and Kamu kinda sounds like Kaijuu, soooo….

This concept was also proprosed by @mynameisuranus !”

“Tsukumo

A term for a kodo that is an object. The term may also be used as an identity.

Examples may include:

  • An object that is a small version of whatever it is, such as a small size cup.
  • An object that’s associated with children or kodos, like an elementary school uniform.
  • An object based on a small, child, or kodo version of an existing thing, such as a plushie of a loli character.
  • Any object that just gives off kodo vibes for some reason.

The name comes from Tsukumogami, a tool in Japanese folklore that has acquired a spirit. Not necessarily related to kodos lol, but its like… imagine the object has the spirit of a kodo, or something (not that that’s really what a tsukumogami is either… shhh… its okay).

The idea was proposed by @mynameisuranus ! I made the symbol & chose a name.

And of course, tsukumocon would be the attraction towards tsukumos.”
