“New contact stance: covet-contact

Covet-contact: a form of pro-contact but specifically based on what the other person wants. Covet-contact can be used by MAPs, zoos and necros who do not care about what society says and do not abide by the law, but who primarily cares for what the other entity desires. In a MAP case, covet-contact means you believe that a child knows what they want and you do not have a problem giving them what they want, specifically because they asked for it. A child engaging in sexual acivity with an adult should be aware of all risk factors and keep themselves safe, but also has free will and can decide to be in a relationship with a MAP while knowing what that entails. A covet-contact MAP is one who puts what the child wants first, and know they too acknowledge the risks involved, they help care for the needs of the child because they genuinely believe that that is the right thing to do, legal or not. Zoos and necros, as well as other paras, would have relationships similar to this.

Covet-contact fuses the terms “sex-positive”, “pro-contact” and “pro-consent” in a way that is specifically in favor of the other person and their desires, understanding that those desires are normal and should be expressed, and refuses to adhere to what other people outside of the relationship think. It’s normal to be horny and need attention, and covet-contact individuals provide a space for individuals to express and explore their desires freely.”
