a girlskopos can wear feminine clothing and act like a girl but deciding not to physically transition (getting bottom/top surgery, hormone therapy, any form of physical transition, etc etc)
usually being girlskopos is a choice, girlskopos by proxy is when you cannot transition (familial issues, country/state laws, money issues, etc).
people who are girlskopos do not mind being misgendered because they know due to their lack of transtion people dont see them as a girl. and sometimes they wont even go by female pronouns due to their lack of care about how they are presented.
