a boyskopos can wear masculine clothing and act like a boy while not physically transitioning (getting bottom/top surgery, hormone therapy, etc etc)
usually being boyskopos is a choice, boyskopos by proxy is when you cannot transition (familial issues, country/state laws, money issues, etc)
people who are boyskopos do not mind being misgendered because they know due to their lack of transtion people dont see them as a boy
