“Bloodied Hands Syndrome (BHS)

A disorder when one believes their hands to be covered in blood. Could be connected to a past event where one’s hands where covered in blood but doesn’t have to be.

Symptoms:

• Constant hallucinations of hands being covered in blood
• Delusions of hands being covered in blood even when not actively hallucinating
• Compulsively cleaning hands to try and get rid of blood
• Constantly hiding hands to stop others from seeing blood (e.g wearing gloves, hands in pockets, hands behind back, etc.)
