โง A Flawed Person is a negative Special Person attachment that occurs with individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD). A Flawed Person is someone who is more often than not a subject to the person with OCPD (pwOCPD)โs negative symptoms, and may be subjected to persistent Devaluation or Splitting. This may be someone who makes the pwOCPD feel inferior or imperfect in some way. This could be someone who is never satisfied or proud of the pwOCPDโs accomplishments and expects them to always โdo betterโ, or someone the pwOCPD compares themselves to and is jealous because they perceive this person as ‘betterโ than them. This could be because the Flawed Person is an Obsession Person or similar attachment gone wrong.โง
Meaning: “An Obsession Person (OP/OBP) is a Special Person attachment that may occur with a person with Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD). An OP is someone the person with OCPD (pwOCPD) values deeply and may even trust with tasks they wouldn’t usually be willing to allow help on. The pwOCPD may worry less about being perfect in front of their OP, or they may feel the need to be as perfect as possible in front of them.”
